Please read these terms carefully before using our booking services or renting a vehicle from Prestige Car Rental.
Introduction
Welcome to Prestige Car Rental. By accessing our website, mobile application, or utilizing our fleet services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the Renter") and Prestige Car Rental ("the Company").
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of our services immediately. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting.
Eligibility Requirements
- check_circle Age: Renters must be at least 21 years of age for economy vehicles and 25 years of age for luxury/sport categories.
- check_circle License: A valid driver's license held for at least 1 year is mandatory. International renters must present an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside their national license.
- check_circle Identification: A valid Passport or National ID card is required at the time of pickup.
Booking & Payments
Reservation Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a booking confirmation email and successful authorization of the security deposit.
Payment Methods: We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) and cash payments in USD or LBP (Lebanese Pounds) at the daily market exchange rate prevalent on the date of transaction.
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals. The amount varies by vehicle category and will be blocked on your credit card. This block will be released within 14-21 business days after the vehicle is returned, provided no damages or fines are incurred.
Cancellations & Refunds
We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair:
- Free Cancellation: Up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup will incur a fee equivalent to 1 day's rental.
- No-Show: If the renter fails to pick up the vehicle without prior notice, the full rental amount or a minimum of 3 days rental fee (whichever is lower) will be charged.
Fleet Usage Policy
Vehicles must be operated responsibly. The following uses are strictly prohibited and will void all insurance coverage:
Insurance & Liability
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Included in most rates, limiting your financial liability for damage to the vehicle, subject to an excess amount.
Theft Protection (TP): Covers the cost of replacing the vehicle if it is stolen.
Note: Insurance does not cover damage to tires, windshields, or the undercarriage unless specifically added as an extra protection package. Personal belongings left in the car are not covered.
Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut.
By signing the rental agreement or completing an online booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms.
